History
Classware© Software has been creating educational software since 1994. It started innocently in a small 4th grade classroom. All programs were simple basic skills applications written in Visual Basic; however, Macintosh users couldn't use our programs. With the advent of ASP and Flash, our simple little apps came alive and became available in the new fledging media called the Internet. All programs are created, designed and researched by classroom teachers and they have all been used with great success in the classroom.

With all of the pressure of State High Stakes Testing and the demands of NCLB teachers are forced to spend too much time assessing, gathering data, interpreting data and teaching to the data -- basic skills aren't reinforced enough and sometimes not even practiced at all. Without basic skills each grade level students fall further and further behind.

Our first site MyTeachingTools, had countless basic skills programs, endless math practice, worksheets, glossaries, on line phonics, interactive spelling and vocabulary and much more. This lead to the development of a second site -- STARprep.com, which included High Stakes Testing Practice and Review.

MyTeachingTools and STARprep have been combined into EduWebPortal.com.

Our Goal
Every day our new site will grow and include more tools and testing practice. We want to ensure that there is another resource for: students who for some reason didn't get it in class, the teacher who doesn't have time to provide the basic skills and assess them and the parents who want to make sure their child is getting an education.
